Most normal activities can be resumed immediately. It is recommended that heavy exercise and/or sweat inducing activity be delayed for up to 7 days. Keep a tissue nearby thereafter until fully healed (2 weeks). Sweat will damage your retention the first week, be vigilant and avoid prolonged outdoor time as best as possible.
Keep bath and shower times short. Avoid direct shower spray on your eyebrows. Avoid excessive steam. Recreational water activities where your brow area will become submerged or wet, such as swimming, should be completely avoided for 2 weeks.
Avoid ALL makeup and skin care products on the brow area the first two weeks, makeup can skew your pigment color as well as create a risk for infection. After 2 weeks you may lightly pencil/powder if needed before touch up.
The sun DRASTICALLY affects the lifetime of your art between refreshes. Fading is quickened with sun exposure. STAY OUT OF THE SUN, if you must be out wear a hat and sunscreen. Sunscreen your brows!!! (no SUN or sunscreen for at least the first 2 weeks. Your brows are healing with fresh new skin, avoid the sun and adding any chemicals or products for a minimum of 2 weeks and until your touch up as best as possible)
Your procedure will begin to oxidize (begin to turn darker and darker) immediately after and during the next 3-4 days. Do not be alarmed. The color will lighten as the skin heals.

Lips are a very sensitive area. Expect treated areas to be tender for the next few days. Your lips may be swollen or have a discharge of interstitial fluid and blood for at least 12 hours post procedure. Gently dab off excess interstitial fluid from the procedure area with a clean tissue and distilled water or bottled water. Remember that you should wipe off the interstitial fluid to avoid getting a thick crust.
Your lip color will be much darker for 1-7 days post procedure. The true color will not be visible for 4 weeks post procedure and for each color refresher.
Tissue heals at different levels and duration. Some people heal within 7 days for the outer layer and up to 4 weeks for the inner layer.
Keep lips moisturized post procedure using Aquaphor, Lip Balm, Grapeseed oil, or After- Inked ointment (provided).
Avoid eating spicy food and drinking directly from the cup (use a straw).
Be very careful when brushing your teeth and try to avoid getting toothpaste on your lips.
DO NOT lick your lips as it will cause the pigments to fall off.
DO NOT peal or pick at your lips as it will cause scarring.
DO NOT touch the healing pigmentated area with your fingers. Touching the treated area with your fingers, unclean cotton swabs, old products or other, may result in infection. If you need to touch the area, use a clean cotton swab.
No sauna, jacuzzi, steam, exercise hot yoga, swimming in chlorine pools or in the ocean till the area is completely healed after initial procedure or color refreshers.
DO NOT expose your face to the sun until the procedure area has healed. Do not wear makeup on the treated area until it has healed (7-14 days). You might cause an infection or otherwise damage the permanent makeup.
DO NOT USE any lightening and peeling products that contain AHA’s, Vitamin A, Retinol A, Glycolic/Lactic Acids on the treated area; it will fade your tattoo/permanent makeup prematurely.
If you resume the Retin-A, Retinol, or Retinoids after the 30 days, the continued use will fade your permanent makeup prematurely.
History of cold sores need to use an anti-viral medications 1000mg L-lysine or (Zovirax, Valtrex, Acyclovir) 5 days prior and 5 days post lip procedure to minimize the risk of an outbreak. Treatment cannot be performed if there is an active outbreak. Please speak with your health provider prior to the procedure.
NOTE: After the outer layer has fully healed and scabs have all peeled off, lips will be 40-60% lighter. Do not use creams that contain acids or ingredients that will lighten or exfoliate the skin.

Meet Mahsa
She was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She moved to the states with her family when she was 11 years old. She has always had a passion for art, justice, and public service. After graduating high school, she attended JCCC where she enrolled in their Fine Arts and Dental Hygienist program. She loved helping others achieve their desired smiles and educating on proper oral care. She is an avid painter and art is a huge part of her life.
Her love for other humans and public service was just beginning, she wanted to be a part of something bigger than herself. She decided to change careers, achieving a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. In 2012, she became a Police Officer in Johnson County Kansas and has been serving and protecting the community ever since.
Mahsa’s brief time in the beauty industry as a Beauty Advisor for Ulta always lingered and intrigued her. She enjoyed going above and beyond to learn all the new trends and products in order to assist the diverse needs of any client. Mahsa is finally putting herself and her dreams first; return to the beauty industry obtaining her Tattoo License specializing in Permanent Cosmetics. Her goal is to bring her discipline, work ethic, integrity, and standard of excellence to this industry.
